PERSONAL PROFILE

I am a highly competent Translator with more than 15 years experience in working both independently and collaboratively with a wider team and with different public administrations, NGOs and international agencies. I provide a high standard of work with fantastic attention to detail. I am looking for an administrative role preferably with the opportunity of working across various departments in the public administrations. I am aiming to start my PhD studies in the Public Administration & Policies’ field to enrich my expertise and be armed with the needed knowledge to help me leave a positive print at the administrative governmental level in Lebanon, knowing that it is in real need for new blood eager to achieve real reforms and eradicate corruption in order to assist in a total resurgence of our country.

Working under the direct supervision of the Director General – since October 2012 after passing the CSB exams to become a contractual translator – to provide highly professional translation/Editing/Proofreading services. Main tasks include: 

ü  drafting administrative and official correspondences for the Minister of Tourism, reviewing  translating and/or drafting official MoUs, contracts or Declaration of Intents, 

ü  Translating the “Guesthouses in Lebanon” guide into English in collaboration with the French Institute (Institut Français), reviewing KOOZ guide for rural tourism addressed to Lebanese school instructors  (Arabic version – Funded by JICA.

ü  Ongoing projects: working on reviewing, updating and translating all documents related to Lebanese culture and tourism for the official website of the Ministry to be published in 3 languages)
